Catalyst::Authentication::Credential::Authen::Simple should do the trick. http://search.cpan.org/~jlmartin/Catalyst-Authentication-Credential-Authen-Simple-0.02/lib/Catalyst/Authentication/Credential/Authen/Simple.pm becasue Authen::Simple does support LDAP.
