Actually we just started prototyping of Cayenne plugin engine:

I don't think I'll have time until after July 5 to change the Modeler
code to act as a Platonos plugin, but we are going in this direction.
So the decision for Platonos is final?

Have you evaluated it against Platonos?
IMHO JPF:
- looks less "abandoned" :).
- the authors still respond to user questions.
- has much, much more documentation.
- it's structure docs and architecture look cleaner to me(but this is
subjective) (even the platonos VCS repository structure looks like a complete
mess)
