While I am totally +1 on the idea to implement a Cayenne Maven plugin
(I guess it can have multiple "goals" corresponding to the current
Cayenne tasks?), I also wanted to point out to a hack that I am using
when working with Maven:

There is no real way to auto-generate the Java class files from
maven like there is for ant. This is a request to add that feature.
