We'd really like to see a description field added to the attribute definition
page. We've done several large projects now using Cayenne and love the product
- however - its very frustrating not being able to document attributes in the
modeler. It is the central tool that we all use to view / edit the database
schema and I really think it would help a great deal to be able to have some
additional information in there.
I saw that someone else had suggested this a couple of years ago - and you were
concerned about the impact on memory. My suggestion would be not to load these
if possible. I'd prefer to have the comments and waste a little memory rather
than not have them.
