I successfully ran the 2.0.2 test suite in hsqldb, derby, and pgsql. I actually had two different problems that manifested themselves in similar ways:
1) Derby's embedded JDBC driver is in derby.jar, not derbyclient.jar. Not having used Derby before, I used [1] as reference and was lead astray. 2) I got spoiled by auto-adapters and when I set up my connection.properties, I forgot to specify a Cayenne adapter. Fixing those enabled me to run the tests fine. Apologies to Andrus who waited around patiently for this. I will post the chat log shortly as well.
