On a walk along the East Ithaca Recreation Way before dinner I had an
EASTERN SCREECH OWL calling from the south side of the trail, about
where one was sighted multiple times a few years ago. And just before
the end of trail (east), I heard a RED-SHOULDERED HAWK calling. Not
too surprising since I believe there is one or more of them in the
raptor rehab barn there.
