Late this afternoon I saw a female EASTERN TOWHEE at the beginning of Podell Boardwalk on the lab side. Do the females tend to arrive later than the males? Also, many RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS on the Wilson Trail east of the main pond. One displayed the red patch on its head, which always elicits a big WOW from me!
