Maybe the same osprey came back today - I watched it circle for about 5 minutes
over Beebe Lake, but then had to go back to work. Still circling when I left.
Also saw a beaver cruising the waters.

Watched an osprey take off from Beebe Lake about 10:45 AM today, with a
small fish in its talons. It circled a few times, then flew off to the
south. Meanwhile, two kingfishers were pursuing each other, sometimes right
below the osprey. About 20 minutes later, another, or maybe the same osprey
appeared, slowly circling and hovering above the lake as it moved from west
to east. Very nice!
Betsy
