Hi all, This morning, Tim Lenz and I hit a few local spots around Ithaca. At Stewart Park, we found 3 BRANT that were on the lake near the sail boat marina. Also at Stewart Park were three juvenile DUNLIN that were roosting on a log that was drifting on the lake near one of the white buoys. Around the Swan Pen were at least 30 Myrtle Warblers and 2 NASHVILLE WARBLERS.
Next, we decided to check Freese Road, where we found a LINCOLN'S SPARROW, along with many Song, and some Field, Swamp, White-crowned, White-throated, and Savannah Sparrows. We also ran into Ann Mitchell and Gary Kohlenberg who had an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER in the northeast corner of the garden plots.
