Onondaga County ------------ 12/1: A MERLIN was seen in Syracuse on 7th. North Street. Another was seen on 12/3 from Onondaga Lake Parkway. 12/3: An adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at Onondaga Lake Park. 12/4: Sarting on this day SNOW GEESE were reported in flight at on bodies of water from the northern to the southern parts of the county. 12/5: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was found on Banner Road in the Town of Tully. Madison County ------------ 12/5: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen at a feeder in Erieville. Cayuga County ------------ 12/5: A TRUMPETER SWAN was heard vocalizing in flight near Dalton Road in the Town of Ira. Extralimital ------------ A male KING EIDER has been seen daily on Cayuga Lake from Meyers Point to Stewart Park.
