I trailed other Cayuga birders to the Common Redpolls feeding on Birch catkins in the patch between Triphammer Terr. and Hillcrest. Yesterday there were ca. 30 birds at 1030 h. Today, also at ca. 1030 h, the flock had increased to ca. 60. Yesterday I also saw a Rough-legged Hawk patrolling the fields south of Burdick Hill Rd. and a Common Raven soaring over Esty Dr. at 34B. --
