Daughter, Becky & I saw a flock of 20 or so AMERICAN PIPITS in a farm field on Fitzpatrick Rd. between Union Springs & Auburn yesterday.
Also saw both adult Bald Eagles sitting in trees at Mud Lock ... and both adults at the Refuge near the Visitor's Center. The Osprey is sitting on 3 eggs on the North Spring Pool platform along Rte. 89. High water has flooded some Canada goose nests & maybe the Trumpeter nest. Ponds are now lakes. Becky, Kathy Strickland & I truly appreciated the fantastic Harpy Eagle presentation at the lab last night. Thanks to whomever arranged for it.
