Made a trip up to Fairhaven park, not much to see; Mute Swans, Am. Coots, few
Bufflehead, the most exciting thing was a pair of Snow Buntings along (and in)
the road. In the channel were several Long-tailed Ducks, a lot of Herring Gulls
and a few GBB Gulls (and RB Gulls of course). Not much at Montezuma either, 2
mature Bald Eagles, Shovelers, Mallards, and several Hooded Mergansers along
auto route. Did have a Rough Legged Hawk on Van Dyne Spoor Rd.
A question on a bird ID; it was like a small crow, all black with a white rump
spot. It flew from a tree along the road north of Savannah, any ideas?
