T-H's interesting TURKEY VULTURE with the half-white left wing appeared over our house today (West Meadow Dr, off Triphammer Terrace, so about 2.5 mi N of Pyramid Mall) as part of a kettle of about 14 birds. As usual in our area, they circle low and fast disappearing behind the trees behind our house, making it almost impossible to count.
I grabbed a series of the half-white winged individual and posted to Flickr. This is my first post there, so hope this link works for you. If not, let me know and I'll try to fix it. Also, if anyone wants larger (up to the Canon RAW 21 Mpixel) images, let me know. http://www.flickr.com/photos/73284351@N03/sets/72157628666045649/<http://www.flickr.com/photos/73284351@N03/sets/72157628666045649/><http://www.flickr.com/photos/73284351@N03/sets/72157628666045649/> ______________________ Chris Pelkie Research Analyst Bioacoustics Research Program Cornell Lab of Ornithology 159 Sapsucker Woods Road Ithaca, NY 14850 -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
