For the past two mornings I have had a pair of Downy Woodpeckers come to my feeders. It is quite obvious that it is the adult mother and fledgling son. The mother pecks at the seed cake and then feeds the son who is quite noisy and insistent. It is real quite a show and I have made videos of several minutes of this behavior. A nice morning treat for me as well.
