No phalaropes, but we did have a juvenile LAUGHING GULL come down the lake and 
disappear up the inlet late in the afternoon.  It gave the appearance of going 
to roost. Perhaps it joined the group at the state park marina?  It went on 
past the jetty, anyway.

A pair of White-winged Scoters and 3 Long-tailed Ducks were the next best 
things we could find.
