There were several of us at Myers Point this morning from before sunrise
until about 1:00pm when we went in different directions. A few folks
joining for an hour or two. It was certainly a fun day to be watching
Cayuga Lake

Below is a link to the complete list of birds that we saw at Myers. I
almost certainly missed a few things, and have only just shared it with
others who were birding there so the list may be incomplete.

The highlights included a 1st-year Cave Swallow and 1st-year Laughing Gull,
a nice variety of ducks, an adult Peregrine Falcon trying to catch a Dunlin
and then trying Ring-billed Gulls. A very exciting day where almost
anything seemed possible!

I checked several other locations in the afternoon.Highlights included Red
Phalarope from Hog Hole (seen at the same time by Bill Evans who was at the
white lighthouse):

And the Purple Sandpiper at Long Point that Brad Carlson found early this
afternoon.

Time to rest eyes.
