We had a large flock (over three dozen) Redpolls descend on the feeders today and one was a classic Hoary; they joined Red-breasted Nuthatches and a huge flock of goldfinch as well as two Pine Siskins. While doing our count here this morning we had a beautiful adult male Northern Goshawk as well as a Northern Mockingbird, cowbirds and red-wings among the more common species.
