Birders:

I wanted to share an event that is happening tomorrow morning on the
opposite end of town, celebrating the improvements at a local nature
preserve, and the variety great habitats for migratory and resident birds.

What: The Nature Conservancy's Eldridge Wilderness Preserve
Where: Troy Road, Ithaca, just south of the intersection with W. King Rd
When: Saturday May 11-- 9:30-12:00
Who: Everyone
Featuring: Presentation, Nature Walk, Nature Treasure Hunt

At 9:30 there will be a short program, followed by a nature walk/tour of
the preserve (with a focus on migrating and resident birds) at 10:00. All

A great way to discover a little-known birding locale right in the Town of
Ithaca (not quite Danby!) --and still have time to make it over the the
"other" big bird event that day. :)
