Yesterday, August 23rd, the American White Pelican was still at Knox Marsellus Marsh.
I was fortunate to run into Mike Tetlow who was scouting for a trip he is leading today and he put his scope right on the bird for me. Very grateful to Mike, for I doubt I would have picked it out while resting. Standing, it's very obvious and impressive. A life bird for me.
