Here's an early report from Montezuma - Knox-Marcellus Marsh Sunday morning, in case anyone is still thinking of going up today. A very large group from Cayiga Bird Club and Audubon were still out on the dike when I left, so I'm sure there will be a full report later.
Highlights included a juv RED NECKED PHALAROPE, continuing WHIMBREL, FORSTERS TERN, juv SANDERLING, and both BLACK-BELLIED and AM GOLDEN PLOVERS among the many yelleldgs and PECTORAL SANDPIPERS. Two AM WHITE PELICANS continue as well, plus MERLIN, PEREGRINE, SANDHILL CRANES, EAGLES , etc Ken Sent from my iPhone -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
