Hi all.
Ton and I are just back from three weeks away and, like Bob McGuire, all birds
for us are first of the year Birds. This morning we had ovenbirds, yellow
rumped, yellow, and Cape May warblers in the yard. Also great crested
flycatcher, rose breasted grosbeak, catbird, broadwinged hawk and barn swallow.
Bluebirds, phoebes, tree swallows and redwinged blackbirds are all building
nests in the yard.

It's always nice to go away but it's also nice to come home.
