June 02, 2014

BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER
UPLAND SANDPIPER
WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER
SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER
RUDDY TURNSTONE
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE
OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER
SWAINSON’S THRUSH
CLAY-COLORED SPARROW
ORCHARD ORIOLE




Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------

     6/3: A LEAST BITTERN was found at Mays Point Pond.
     6/5: RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, WILSON’S PHALAROPE and WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER 
were all seen at Knox Marsellus Marsh.
     6/7: REN-NECKED PHALAROPE and RUDDY TURNSTONE were seen at Knox Marsellus 
Marsh. A GREAT EGRET was seen on VanDyne Spoor road in the marsh.
     6/8: An ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen on East Road.


Oswego County
------------

     6/3: A SWAINSON’S THRUSH was heard on Otto Mills Road. 2 WHIMBREL, RUDDY 
TURNSTONE and BLACK TERN were all seen on the islands from Mill Street in 
Constantia.


Onondaga County
------------

     6/8: 2 CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS and an ORCHARD ORIOLE were found at Green 
Lakes State Park.


Oneida County
------------

     6/4: 2 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS were seen in Canden.      
     6/9: An OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was seen at Labrador Hollow.


Herkimer County
------------

     6/8: An UPLAND SANDPIPER was seen on Harris Road in Poland.
