We recently bought a nicely made bamboo nest box from Agway, and it has a screen at the bottom, presumably to help prevent blow fly larva from getting to the nestlings. If this actually works, I'd like to add screens to my other nest boxes. Does anyone know how effective this really would be and has anyone tried it? Thanks, Carol Schmitt --
