A number of birders have commented about re instituting a text based RBA
system like the one we once had that was managed by Dave Nutter. As I
understand that the old system went away because there was going to be
charge for the service. I am wondering if a similar system could be set
up with a small fee for subscription to cover the costs would readers of
this list be interested?
Right now I either get alerts from this list via e-mail or Ebird RBA
alerts ( which are a day old). I would like to know if there is enough
interest in having an instant RBA text system again?
If there are enough people interested I would be willing to manage the
system, but I would need the help of someone who understands this kind
of system better than I do to help get it set up.
