A few of us were at Myers Pt. around 1 PM and saw no Purple Sandpiper, either.

  I waited in vain from 4:00 - 6:30 pm this afternoon for the Purple 
Sandpiper's return. Even though the lighting was ideal for photography
  the only occupants on the point were a handful (30-35) of R-bGs and a pair of
