Notable birds during my midday walk to the lake today (25 Dec) included: * a long scope view of an adult PEREGRINE FALCON gliding south over the lake and inlet * 3 DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS feeding out in the lake * a COMMON LOOK also out in the lake. Passerines were in short supply.
