We just had a male Kestrel in our small backyard area. We have a Sharpie
once in a while, but this was the first Kestrel I've seen anywhere except
on local power lines. He scoped out the possible breakfast items from two
locations but sadly for him there were no birds in view at that time, even
though I had just filled the feeders. After less than a minute, he flew
across our neighbor's yard and into one of their huge spruce trees.
