A mixed flock of 200-300 snow buntings and horned larks was on Munson Road across from Countryside Market in Ovid at 2:00 and still at 3:30. Had no time to stop and check for longspurs or other more sought after birds. They were covering strips of bare ground where the snow had been blown away, many quite close to the road, and did not fly away as traffic went by.
