I did a brief review of the waynecountynysoilandwater.org site and found out a
couple things. The town of Butler is listed as partly in the Lake Ontario
watershed (basin drainage) and partly in the Seneca River Drainage. However,
according to a watershed map, the entire Butler Creek lies within the Seneca
River drainage basin.

(Note, look for “what is a watershed” and “why is AG conservation important?”
on the website)
