I slept with the windows open, of course, and woke up thinking that I must go see Cardinal Richelieu. So, I ambled down to the little gorge on the west side of Beech Hill Road (Lindsay-Parsons Preserve) to find that Canada Warblers are back on territory there.
On the way back I found a pile of yellow-shafted feathers under spruces: someone ate a Flicker. Cooper's Hawk?
