Hi all, Scott Haber and I went to the Lindsay-Parsons Preserve this morning for some recording and birding. There were many breeding birds (and ticks!) but the highlights included a BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO that was calling on and off for an hour and an ALDER FLYCATCHER that we managed to get a recording of.
The ticks seemed to be worst on the other side of the railroad tracks.
