A few minutes ago an adult FRANKLIN'S GULL flew in to Myers Point, apparently from the south, and landed on the north side of the spit, out of sight for us at the lighthouse. We tried to reposition to get a look but it flew before any other birds and quickly headed off to the north with some Ring-billed. We are still here and it has not returned, but there is still at least one Franklin's on Cayuga Lake!
