The City of Ithaca would like to inform residents and visitors that hunting, trapping, and the discharge of any firearm or archery equipment upon any public property in or owned by the City of Ithaca is prohibited. This includes the Six Mile Creek natural area, the City’s dams and reservoir, and the City’s open water portion of Cayuga Lake. The hunting prohibition includes wild animals, fowl and birds.
