Van Dyne Spoor Rd. was very muddy with few birds late this afternoon until I spotted a falcon get a lot of ducks in the air to the north. They were south of the railroad tracks so I went out Wright Rd and found it full of Northern Pintails and Mallards in the corn stubble. There were also Black Ducks, American Wigeon and Horned Larks in the fields. When we get the warmer weather that is coming they will probably show up in the muck lands along route 31.
