Lately out niger seed sock has been busy with Pine Siskins. Not a goldfinch among them. We did have A. Goldfinches until recently, but now, just those siskins. Maybe our habitat - we're in a Hemlock forest - is more welcoming to these charming little streaky ones. If they are truly just moving through I expect eventually there will be a change of watch.
