Hardly news any more, but there is (still) a singing Pine Warbler singing this morning from the big White Pines near the stone gates to Sapsucker Woods along Sapsucker Woods Road. I heard it singing two different times when crossing the road (between point counts) and saw it once. I know several other people heard and or saw it this morning in the same place, including three hot-shot Amish women birders from Penn Yan who I encountered on the trail.
If it keeps singing like it did this morning, it will not be hard to find.
