Activity is heating up at Knox-Marsellus Marsh in Montezuma NWR, as seen from East Road this evening. Thousands of ducks are joined by some respectable shorebird numbers, highlighted by a juvenile WILSON'S PHALAROPE. Both dowitchers and good numbers of Pectoral Sandpipers were also nice. Over a hundred Great Egrets were foraging all across the marsh.
