About 1 PM Friday I found a flock of about 50+ Horned Larks along with one
Lapland Longspur. They were along the shoulder of Fayette-Varick Townline Rd
(west of Hoster Rd intersection). Also had a great view of a Merlin along Rte
89, just south of Canoga (west side of the road). Tundra Swans, Redhead,
Gadwall, Am Wigeon, Goldeneye, and lots of Common Mergansers were along the
west shore of Cayuga Lake by the water plant off Rte 89 (south of Canoga). Pics
available on my fb page.
