SEMI-PALMATED PLOVER AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER KILLDEER SOLITARY SANDPIPER GREATER YELLOWLEGS LESSER YELLOWLEGS LEAST SANDPIPER PECTORAL SANDPIPER SEMI-PALMATED SANDPIPER LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER WILSON’S SNIPE STILT SANDPIPER WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER BAIRD’S SANDPIPER SPOTTED SANDPIPER 9/11: A GLOSSY IBIS was found in Knox-Marsellus Marsh and was seen through 9/15. A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen near Wilgoose Field on Rt. 89. 9/15: The AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN was still being seen at Knox-Marsellus Marsh. Nine species of Shorebirds including STILT SANDPIPER, BAIRD’S SANDPIPER and WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER were seen at Knox-Marsellus Marsh. Also seen was the GLOSSY IBIS. Cayuga County ------------ 9/14: A LESSER BLACK-BACLED GULL was found at West Barrier Bar Park in Fair Haven. Also seen was a fly over WHIMBREL. 9/15: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER and a SWAINSON’S THRUSH were seen at Fair Haven State Park. Onondaga County ------------ 9/10: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard and seen at Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville. 9/11: An OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER continued at Raddison River Park east of Baldwinsville. 9/13: an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was seen on the Erie Canal Trail in Fayetteville. 9/14: A PHILADELPHIA VIREO was found at Three Rivers WMA. A YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER was seen at Labrador Hollow Unique Area. 9/15: A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen on Eastman Road east of Northern Boulevard east of Hancock Airport. Oswego County ------------ 9/9: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen at Sandy Island State Park on Lake Ontario. 9/14: The RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was again seen at Sandy Island State Park. 5 AMERICAN PIPITS and a SANDERLING were seen at Oswego Harbor. 15 species of WARBLERS were seen along the Lake Ontario Lakeshore from Oswego to Mexico. 9/15: A YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER was seen at a private resicence in Hastings. A PHILADELPHIA VIREO was seen at Selkirk Shores on Lake Ontario. Madison County ------------ 9/11: A YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER was seen at Tuscarora Nature park west of Erieville. 9/14: A SORA continues at the Madison Street Impoundment north of Hamilton.
