Folks - a question. Today I watched a male Cardinal in a cherry tree. He was picking at the blossoms, putting them in his mouth, then quickly discarding them. He was grabbing them from the stem end and not the blossom end. He was doing it for quite some time. The path beneath the trees was covered with discarded blossoms. Any idea(s)? Thanks. Pete Sar
