This Friday is Earth Day and I'm sure most of you have noticed the
vast amount of trash and litter that befouls our countryside, urban
and rural. Please consider carrying a couple of trash bags while
visiting your favorite birding locale or park and pick up what you can
this Earth Day. Even better, make a habit of carrying a trash bag with
you year-around while on your outings and pack out what others have so
carelessly left behind. Perhaps if others see you doing this it will
inspire them to do the same, or at least not contribute to the
problem. Thanks!
