experiences traveling throughout the state on birding adventures, and learn
about the structure of this club founded and directed by young people on a
mission to learn about birds.

Adam Vinson was president of the Young Birders Club and a recipient of NYSOA's

studying marsh birds. In addition to his studies at Cornell, he works with the
American Bird Conservancy and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Chemung Valley Audubon events are free and open to all. One of 27 chapters in
New York State, its purpose is to encourage the study, enjoyment, and
protection of birds and other wildlife, and to promote educational lectures,
programs, and field trips. For online information visit
