Astrid we had over 100 sandhills on our survey yesterday (Friday) at Knox Marcellus Marsh on the Montezuma Refuge near Seneca Falls, NY. If past history is any indication, I expect still more to arrive before they finally leave us for the winter. Last year's fall totals surpassed 300 birds!, It is quite a sight to see such large congregations of these beautiful creatures. Good luck!! Hope you're successful in your search.
