Late this morning there were 5 Common Loons on Cayuga Lake visible from the
Allan H Treman State Marine Park as I scoped northward from the shore. The sky
was cloudy, but the air temperature must’ve been close to the water
temperature, because there was so little shimmer, and I had a good view between
when the fog lifted and when the rainshowers set in. Anyway, there are still
Loons on Cayuga Lake, enough for them to have spread more or less to the south
end.
