Today we went to Seneca Lake to Lodi State Park and down to Watkins. There were very few birds on the water (only a small flock of ring billed gulls) Cayuga Lake usually has a wide variety of water fowl. Does anyone have any theories about this? Is it because the shelf is shallower on Cayuga Lake so it's easier for the birds to find food. Thanks in advance for any insights
