Maiden Lane & Towpath Rds, Port Byron.

Saturday, May 6 & Monday, May 8, shorebird conditions in the muddy corn
stubble were excellent. Field is being pumped, and conditions may dry up
quickly. A mixed flock of over 200 shorebirds flushed and settled back into
the field this afternoon. Best viewing was on Towpath Rd, west of abandoned
house. There certainly could have been more shorebirds than the common
species we uncovered.

Killdeer, Least Sandpiper, peep sp, Pectoral Sandpiper, Wilson's Snipe,
Spotted Sandpiper, Solitary Sandpiper, Greater & Lesser Yellowlegs, and
American Pipit.
