just now landed, and remains, at the Stewart Park pond across from the
playground. An interesting interaction after it landed right next to a
great blue heron. The heron seemed to strike an aggressive pose as it
stalked the egret along the edge of the pond at a distance of about 15 feet
behind. The egret seemed not to care, but after a minute it flew across to
the far shore and landed a more respectful distance away.
