Reuben has just let me know that the residents at 178 Barden Road in Candor have been seeing what they now believe is an immature YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON around their farm for the past few days. It seems to show up in the afternoon and often stays until dusk, around the lawn and near a shed somewhere adjacent to their barns. Visitors are welcome, but I don't have any details beyond that. It would be great for someone to go and confirm it though.
