Saw a blue Jay in my yard several days ago. Healthy looking but couldn’t fly.
Too quick to consider capturing for rehab.

Saw the bird this morning on the ground in the rain while walking my dog.
Thought it might have died and thought I should dispose of its body in case of
infectious disease. The poor thing is still alive but clearly needs assistance.

I must go to work, but if anyone is inclined to take this bird to rehab, it is
located at the base of a group of cedar trees on the west edge of the yard near
the road at 145 Oakwood on west hill.
